You have been told, O mortal, what is good,
and what the LORD requires of you:
Only to do justice and to love goodness,

- Ephesians 6:10
Our family-based, small group religious education model helps families grow and learn together, prepares students for their sacraments, and lets them feel known and loved through every question, prayer and doubt along the way. We focus on enriching their spiritual health and developing a relationship with God, in support of the whole person.
Religious education is carried out by a team of dedicated individuals who accompany students on their journey and empower them to develop and share their faith. Based on a unique curriculum, students are exposed to sources that include videos, projects, games, and activities that inspire them to become closer to God. Students take part in First Communion and Confirmation retreats and older students participate in small group breakout sessions to delve further into relevant faith-based topics. Former students are an integral part of retreats and group sessions.
Our parish offers several Masses with contemporary music geared toward youth. When our students understand what the Mass is, going becomes less of an obligation and more of a joy. Participation connects them more fully to the parish community. We also offer parents the opportunity to re-familiarize themselves with the faith during ‘Coffee time with Father and Deacon.’ We support all of our families and meet people where they are.
Additional Enrichment Opportunities for Teens
“Dear young people, you are not the future but the now of God
and he invites you and calls you in your communities and cities
to go out and find your grandparents and elders;
to stand up and with them to speak out
and realize the dream that the Lord has dreamed for you.”
- Pope Francis, World Youth Day 1/27/2019
